I am hoping that iGoogle will be the answer to my short (and maybe long) term need. Our campus has been waiting for a portal to magically appear anyday now. I am perhaps more anxious than most because it will help faculty organize and personalize their "homepages" making it easier to jumpstart my goal of infusing more technology into the curriculum. As an avid user of google.docs I had wanted to explore iGoogle and now is the perfect opportunity. I very quickly created my page and have been busy modifying it ever since. I can see many ways that it will meet the needs of our faculty. And I wonder come fall when the elusive elusive portal is operational if it might simply become a link on our iGoogle pages.
